Born in the Northwest of England, Montirex’s exponential rise to prominence came from being embraced and supported by their local community. Now, the Liverpudlian store provides a homely feel that captures their perseverance and innovation, distinguishing them from traditional flagship locations. To facilitate both the product and the people, our strategy and insight team thoroughly explored the key drivers that would guide the creative and aid moral commerce. With ambitions to attract, engage and connect, we wanted to empathise on a deeper level and curated concise consumer tribes to establish how we could build connection between the consumer and the brand.
Featuring a prominent logo and digital window display at the store’s entrance, the façade showcased their iconic mountain symbol and its subtle significance. With an ascending track not only representing the intersection of sports, style and adventure but also the daily challenge they take on, it produced a striking introduction to the brand. Maintaining this emphasis of their persona, our holistic approach to graphic comms allowed us to apply motivational messaging across the store to visualise their positive mind-set and unrivalled commitment.
Emphasising the essence of community, we integrated a tiered seating area that serves as a multifunctional space, adapting to consumers’ needs. When not in use, it functions as a product display, enhancing visual merchandising opportunities. Further cultivating engagement, a magnetic community board at the front of the store provided a place to build affinity and encourage social presence.
Surrounded by a monochromatic envelope and premium finish, stood modular ‘X’ branded fixtures that amplifies its mark within the brands title. Enhanced with wheels, the tailored mid-floor units, created endless layout solutions that introduced opportunity to change floorplans in line with new product drops and create versatility.
