"Energia" pub design 2012 by Corvin Cristian architect

Într-o fotografieveche a clădirii, am descoperit că acum 90 de ani, spațiul găzduia o tipografie celebră: "energiea". Ce nume mai bun și ce tema mai bună pentru un pub / club? Am păstrat orice urmă de finisaj original pe care am găsi-o sub straturile succesive de intervenții, am refăcut semnalistica exactă de pe fațadă de acum 90 de ani.
Diverse cărți și tipărituri care au fost publicate la "energiea" în anii ’20 sunt prezentate pe pereții pubului. Alături sunt puse mașinile originale și uneltele de atunci.Toate elementele de design, fie ele vechi sau contemporane, sunt în linia temei funcționalist industriale, de la balustrada din teavă, la scările metalice, lămpile toldbod sau scaunele ru.

Magnifying an old picture of the building, we discovered that 90 years ago, the space used to be a famous printshop: "energiea". What better name and theming for a pub/club? We kept whatever original finishings we found under the multiple layers of interventions, we redid the exact signage on the facade as it was 90 years ago, various books and prints that were published at "energia" in the 20's are featured on the walls together with original machines and tools.
All design elements, be they old or contemporary, are in line with the functional/industrial theme, from handrail, stairs, toldbod lamps to the pipe family or ru chairs.
